Shire Oak Academy has now been awarded the Food for Life Partnership Silver Award.

Food for Life SILVER The Food for Life Partnership’s main initiative is to highlight the farm to fork aspect of good food. This involves encouraging young people to think about their food, the importance of growing in season, local produce, the welfare of livestock, visiting farms, involving the local community and building confidence in basic cooking skills necessary to provide food that pupils can trust to fulfill a healthy lifestyle.
